This day marks the end of a long journey toward one another, and the beginning of something quieter and greater: a life shared. After years measured in distance, flights, reunions, and goodbyes, we are grateful to begin the ordinary life we have so long looked forward to. We hope to build a home shaped by faith, hospitality, good work, open doors, meals around the table, children, animals, and the small joys that make a life. We know that no home is built by two people alone. We carry with us the love, example, generosity, and friendship of the families and friends who have accompanied us to this day, across countries and across years. Our wedding is not simply the end of the story that brought us here. It is the beginning of the life we hope, God willing, to build together.
